My Broken...Xbox :'(

About a month ago, I rented Burnout 3: Take Down. It was messed up and after about 3 or 4 hours of play, it just wouldn't read the disc. I brought it back and didn't think much about it, just that BlockBuster should have monitered the scratchage (is this a word?) on the discs. The next week, I rented Star Wars Republic Commando, and it wouldn't load up, just as Burnout wouldn't! So, I tried Halo 2. It wouldn't work. I tried Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind. Nada. Then, Star Wars Clone Wars/Tetris Worlds. Nothing. So I owe an apology to BlockBuster. Also, I need to fix it. I searched on some great sites and found that my disc drive is probably messed up, and needs a cleaning. I checked and after around 30 minutes of Halo 2 on the Xbox loading screen, it said disc cannot be recognized or may be scratched up or dirty. Well, it wasn't and neither were my other games. The tough part to cleaning my disc drive is this. I have to get the mirror clean. That requires opening my Xbox, and my disc drive. I am going to attempt this feat though, and hopefully, I don't need a new drive! :S

I will keep you posted on my opening, and post pictures of it for you. Hopefully.
