Counter Strike - FPS Goodness

Have you ever played Counter Strike? Have you ever played Half-Life? If you said "No" to either of these questions, you owe it to yourself to go pick them up! I even think you can get Counter Strike 1.6 free with Steam, but not entirely sure. Anyway, I have had Counter Strike since the day after Thanksgiving, at Best Buy for $5, with Half Life, Blue Shift, Team Fortress Classic, and Opposing Force, too! I have played through Blue Shift and Half Life, and am part way through Opposing Force, but TFC and CS are both multiplayer games. I needed updates for them, but the server wasn't working. The other day, I found out why. Valve had it's Steam servers running everything, so I had to get updates from them. Why was I so interested to get it, you ask? I played it at the Gaming Cafe, Cyberia, the other day, and had a blast! I downloaded the Steam client with Counter Strike 1.6. I'm not sure if it was with updates to make it Counter Strike 1.6, or the full client, but I am leaning towards the latter, as I have never seen an update for and FPS that big! (Steam is only 600 kb) Anyway, play Counter Strike for a weekend or so, then look around the list for weird names like simpsons or pool, as they are mods, and are downloaded before the game. The downloads for the mods are so easy to do...you don't do anything but join the game and it does the rest! You don't even have to download another client for the mods *cough* Halo Custom Edition *cough*
